Greetings,
I would like to
take the opportunity to write to everyone who attended the "7th Annual James
Halloween Party" this year, October 31, 2003.
Those who
attended are now involved in a little piece of history, associated with an
established occasion that has gone on "officially" for 7 years and
unofficially for almost 25 years. Hey, but who is counting, huh?
Through the
years I have had many parties and met thousands of new people through them. I
would have to say that this year's crowd is the best of any that I have ever
had at one of my Halloween Extravaganzas!!!!
I would like to
give special thanks to the following of my friends.
If you were at
the party this year you might have noticed them carrying around the Skull Beer
Steins.
Markham - For playing the tunes and letting Mike R. have a chance to
enjoy himself playing DJ
Brandon - Roommate extraordinaire and co-host to this years party (four
year attendee)
Mike R.- For helping with the DJ stuff and generally getting twisted
sideways. SALUTE!
Colby - For being
tall enough to reach the top of the porch for me and showing up early to help.
Last, but by
far, not least
Alisa, Randy and Robin -
For being the
best friends that a man could have and always willing to lend their support,
both physically and verbally, to help me put all of this crap together.
I love all three
of you guys, for sure. ( Four Year Attendees)
For all of the
rest who were there:
I was honored to
have each and everyone one of you attend for those few short hours. I know
that there were many of you there who did not know me at the time you decided
to attend. Now you do, well the ones that were sober enough at the time to
remember anyway. So I would like all who attended to send me a short email,
and let me know what you liked and did not like about the party itself. This
input will help me make future parties better and also provide me your email
addresses so that I can let you know about future parties, especially next
Halloween.
To everyone else
that was invited and did not attend because they were unable to ( I more than
understand ) or just decided it was not worth the effort ( shame on all of
you), go to www.daorganizer.com and
check out the pictures from this year's party listed in the middle of the page
under James Halloween. I wish you could have all been there, because as always
when you miss one of my parties, you miss a little piece of History.
Thanks once
again,
James Rogers
